With the YOSO – “Asian Comfort Food” concept, our fine dining restaurant PURS brings the diversity of Asian comfort food to Andernach – in Peter’s unmistakable variety of flavors, of course. Here you can enjoy freshly prepared quick dishes from East Asia every day. Visitors to YOSO – Asian Comfort Food will find themselves in the world of Asian flavors, to which we add our very own facets. Familiar flavors surprise in unusual combinations. YOSO Comfort Food is offered for sharing as well as for individual dishes in a casual setting.

OUR MENU

The culinary focus is on North East Asia – Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore. Food concepts such as Japanese izakaya, dim sum, Korean pocha, bao buns and ramen are interpreted in a modern way. Small dishes to share, prepared in a variety of ways such as raw, steamed, grilled or deep-fried, reflect the commonalities of East Asian food culture.

All dishes can also be conveniently ordered online as “take away”.

For Peter Fridén, head chef at YOSO, cooking is an art that thrives on precision and harmony. His philosophy revolves around the careful selection of the best products, the creation of symmetry between strong contrasts and the ability to create an unforgettable experience with every dish. He has been particularly influenced by the perfection and respect of Japanese culture – towards food and people alike.

At YOSO, Peter Fridén focuses on the variety of preparation methods offered by Asian cuisine: raw, steamed, boiled, grilled, deep-fried or marinated. These almost endless possibilities are implemented with creativity and perfect craftsmanship. The culinary experience is rounded off by a selection of Asian beers and an uncomplicated wine bar model, which ideally complement the overall concept of YOSO.

ARCHITECTURE

The interior of the Yoso restaurant is simple and elegant. Natural materials such as bamboo and wood are used to create a feeling of naturalness and authenticity. The seating is comfortable and inviting, while the minimalist table decor adds a subtle touch of beauty without distracting from the overall atmosphere.
