The Purs is the first hotel designed as a whole by Belgian designer and antiquarian Axel Vervoordt. Every room, every suite, every object testifies to his incomparable sense of style and leaves a special feeling: that of a home. Like no other, Vervoordt knows how to make great works of art work. He manages to find what connects different epochs and art forms and to stage it in such a way that it becomes accessible to the viewer. Never exaggerated, always modest and genuine. You don’t have to be an art connoisseur to appreciate the hotel’s special, pure aesthetic and feel at home here right away.

The art of Axel Vervoordt is to recognize art as such. Where others see only objects, he often sees timeless beauty. Early on, in his youth, the Belgian proved to have a knack for such special pieces, and even today he continues to impress with extraordinary finds.
