Dear friends of the PURS.
We look forward to welcoming you again at the PURS. Please use the functions on our website for your reservation. Of course you can also reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
From Friday, July 2nd, there will no longer be a test requirement for your visit to the restaurant. For your stay at the PURS Hotel, we need proof that you have either recovered or have been vaccinated or tested negative (test results not older than 24 hours, antigen lay self-test sufficient).
Due to the pandemic, your visit is tied to a number of conditions. Please note the following points so that we can receive you:
– We use the “luca” app for encrypted and contactless transmission of your contact details in order to avoid long waiting times. Analog check-in is still possible.
– The service welcomes you when you visit. Please wear mouth and nose protection and disinfect your hands. We will then take you to your place where you can sit and enjoy without mouth and nose protection.
Of course, we continue to comply with all hygiene and safety regulations for your protection and that of our employees.
„Inspired by all things beautiful.“
The PURS is a place with a special sense for beautiful things. A place where architecture, interior and residents stay in perfect harmony. Curated by Belgian designer and art collector Axel Vervoordt. He manages, like no other, to create special rooms with his incomparable eye for the extraordinary, which never feels like staying in a hotel, but always home away from home. Christian Eckhardt also has the eye for the extraordinary. He is the host at PURS restaurant and creates wonderfully harmonious dishes, which should give our guests little moments of happiness.
He combines ingredients that at first glance seem to be incompatible. A fresh informality, which allows exciting nuances. Eckhardt’s fine arrangements are carefully thought out down to the last detail and draped onto the plate with great sensitivity. The result is complex dishes that are never difficult, but always in perfect harmony.
Axel Vervoordt, the world-famous designer and antiquarian focused with his incomparable eye the city of Andernach. He created a space of capable of preserving the historical significance of the building that once housed the Old Chancellery. Filled with curated pieces that allow a new interpretation. The result is an exciting contrast between old substance and contemporary art and a hotel that has set itself the task of capturing the beauty of the authentic.
