The Rheinsteig is a famous hiking trail that winds along the Rhine River through Germany, connecting some of the most beautiful landscapes and places in the country. Especially the section along the Middle Rhine is considered one of the most charming and varied sections of the entire trail.

The hike on the Rheinsteig trail on the Middle Rhine leads through an impressive cultural landscape characterized by majestic castles, idyllic vineyards and picturesque towns. On the way from Wiesbaden to Koblenz, you will come across numerous historic towns such as Rüdesheim, Bacharach and Boppard, which delight with their charming half-timbered houses and medieval castles.
